How do publish a site that i built using Microsoft Publisher. since am in the uk, it says there is no hosting?

I have built a site using Microsoft Publisher. Since am in the UK , its saying there is no hosting support in the UK. Does anyone know how i can find someone to host this site i built on Publisher. Am on a tight budget so i am not lookibg for someone to do another site for me for them to host me unless the site is free. i dont mind paying a small hosting fee, but preferably as small as Microsoft would.

If there is a way to go around the problem and still host with one of Microsoft s, the better

You can use any Web host that supports FrontPage extensions. http://1and1.co.uk is one such host; so too is http://GoDaddy.com

Where your Web host is located does not matter. What matters is if that host has FrontPage extensions enabled on your site. You want that.

Which UK Web Hosting provider should I choose for my Wordpress blog? What UK Web Host do you recommend?

Which UK Web Hosting provider is best to host my Wordpress blog? I have tried 5 but I keep having downtime. I just want to host my blog and eventually an online shop using Magento.

I’ve never had any issues with downtime with them, and their prices are really good. You shouldn’t have any problems using Wordpress or Magento with them, because you get them free when you sign up. You also get something like 60 other scripts for free, but I really like Magento and Wordpress.

So I guess I’d have to recommend Evohosting. Just really good customer service, cheap, no downtime issues, and lots of free stuff!

Where can I find an affordable web hosting and site designer for a simple artist’s gallery? I would like to display paintings in a simple, yet elegant background setting without moving pieces. Is microsoft office live hosting good?

The primary drawback is you can’t edit the HTML directly. You need to use their Web making tool.

In short, it’s crap. And the "free" domain name you get is for one year. Then, it’s $15 a year.

We are planning to start a small business in which we will be providing various solutions like Cloud Computing and SaaS. We are a bunch of java professionals (i.e around 11 java professionals) and would like to start a small business. Our main problem is that we want to host all our business critical applications for our clients online and in-house but we really do not know where to start from. Since some of our applications are business critical, we do not want to rely on the ISP. What we want is the complete control on our applications and database. Could anyone please help us.

If it is so critical, you have no other choice but to set up your own server(s). This is rather expensive, as you have to be PHYSICALLY linked to the web backbone (the fibre optic infrastructure). Usually, these are provided by the country major telephone company. If you are physically close to a telephone exchange, that may not be too hard!
