can i have 2 seperate passwords for yahoo hosting and yahoo email?

I had Miva shopping cart but my web host closed. Any ecommerce carts that don’t require special hosting?

I have a specilty oils and candles web site. I was hosting with a local provider who had Miva cart included with the web hosting plan. The webhost closed, went out of business with out notice. Luckily I have my domain but I lost everything else with my web site because it was all on the server. I am very frustrated and would like to restart my ecommerce web site, but I donot want to be held hostage by a web host ever again. I am looking for a ecommerce cart I can run on my own servers or host anywhere with no strings attached. Frustrated!!!

Free web hosting with database capabilities?

I just got a space for my free web page at geocities, but now I need to include an access database to be accesed via my web page, which geocities does not provide for, as far as I am concerned. Where else can I set up a free page that allows me to have the database as well?

What company currently has the cheapest yet best web hosting?

I am looking for web hosting for two domains I currently own.
Specifically one that is a good value but has everything I need. Large data transfers, lots of traffic (bandwidth) and has tools to handle a secure store as well as discussion boards and email.

Can Yahoo offer a smaller web hosting package for small business. Something between the domain and webhosting?

Why does it necessarily have to be Yahoo? What specific features are you looking for?

For web hosting, I like HostGator. They have a decent package for $9.95 (US) a month (as low as $4.95 a month, if you’re willing to pay for more than one month in advance).

If you need extra features instead of just a basic hosting plan, you might want to look at some of the free open-source software that you can install. There are some MAJOR businesses and non-profits running on Drupal and Joomla, for example. Getting software like that installed and configured takes only a few mouse clicks IF the host you sign with is using cPanel and Fantastico (which most of the better hosting plans are using).

If you need an online store, again there are a lot of options. ZenCart and osCommerce are popular, though I prefer Drupal’s eCommerce add-in module.

What is the difference between Yahoo Web Hosting and Yahoo Merchant Solutions (Ecommerce).

how can i upload an existing mysql database to yahoo web hosting?

I have an existing databse of roughly 249 tables with hundred sof thousands of rows of data. I am trying to get this uploaded to our mysql databse through yahoo hosting. Is there any scripts or programs that I can load to do this?

do a dump of your data and tables from your current mysql database to a txt document

Yahoo should offer you an interface (ie phpmyadmin) to access your mysql database. if they dont, then download that invaluable program and install it in your webspace.

then upload (or import) your dumped data to your new mysql database.

What is the best web hosting for bloggers right now?

Hosting Requirments for ASP.NET 3.5 AJAX and Silverlight?

I’m developing a website with Visual Web Developer 2008 Express, using asp.net 3.5, ajax and silverlight. Also, I’ll be needed database support, I think it’s MS SQL that’s used for Web Developer? What are all the requirments needed to run this website that I need to look for? Some hosting companies, for example say, IIS or XAML supported, but I don’t know of I need those. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Also, I’m I too assume if it says it supports asp.net 3.5 that it will automatically support ajax and silverlight? Or does it actually have to say that it has support for ajax and silverlight?
