they should not be charging you for anything else! You are most definitely getting ripped off!
I think that you should drop the hosting from them and switch to a company with better business practices. I do all my sites through hostgator, and absolutely love them.
What i like most about hostgator is that they offer unlimited diskspace and bandwith on all their plans. You can also host an unlimited number of websites for no extra charge. If your sites are large in content, or high resourced, this is great.
I went and looked it up, just to make sure. They also offer an unlimited number of MySQL databases even on their lowest plan!
Getting a company that is reliable is key. Sure you can find really cheap plans from unheard of companies, but you uptime and speed wont be top notch. Take his into consideration before you jump on a cheap, yet unheard of company.
So i think you could get away with a $4.95/month plan. You could cut down your $150 yearly charge to under $60! Check it out for more details:
